There is not much room for error when it comes to negotiating clinical trial budgets. Through the experiences of the sites in our network, we have learned that there are a handful of common practices that lead to successful budget development.
Developing a clinical trial budget requires substantial time and effort. This webinar outlines the benefits of effectively negotiating your site’s budget, and shows you where you have room to improve your overall revenue stream.
There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration when crafting your budget. We discussed following points of emphasis, among others, in the hopes that they will assist you when negotiating on behalf of your site:
– How to make sense of protocol requirements prior to budget evaluation and develop your budget based on cost, time, and effort associated with procedures;
– What to include in your overhead policy and how to calculate it;
– How to leverage your research site’s strengths and experience; and
– Tips and tricks on how to generate revenue and minimize expenses.
